A group training program is one of the most widespread forms of exercise today, reaching its popularity in the 1970s when the concept of aerobic training was introduced. Aerobics, as a group activity, was practiced with music to shape the body and improve motor skills. Today, the situation has changed. With the development of the fitness industry, numerous other forms of group exercise have developed, which, in addition to aerobics, also include other elements such as yoga, step, cycling, functional training, etc. In the same way, group exercise today is planned and shaped by adapting to the requirements of all age groups and levels of physical fitness, therefore hydrotherapy sessions, medical therapy training or Nordic walking are gaining in popularity.

According to the suggestions of the World Health Organization, people over the age of 18 are recommended to participate in moderate physical activity for a minimum duration of 150 to 300 minutes per week or to participate in a high-intensity activity for a minimum duration of 75 to 150 minutes per week. At least twice a week, it is also recommended to include muscle-strengthening training that targets the main muscle groups.

Considering the wide variety of options of the available training programs, there is often a doubt as to where to start: which training to choose and at what intensity? Another question commonly arises such as: is it better to start independently or to join a group training? There are even more questions if the person is recovering from an injury or has certain mobility issues. In this case, as a first step, it is recommended to contact the experts.

Hydrotherapy sessions in the pool

This type of exercise reduces loading across painful joints and allows for better performance of functional exercises. During the workout, water supports the body and thus reduces the risk of injury, which is why hydrotherapy is especially recommended for people suffering from chronic diseases or experiencing an acute injury.

Taking advantage of the continuous compression and the easing of gravity force offered by the water, hydrotherapy sessions in the pool aim to quickly recover functional activities. The warmth of the water helps to relax the muscles and ease the pain in the joints, which makes it simpler to perform certain movements during exercise. Likewise, water provides resistance to movements, which strengthens muscles and restores strength. Hydrotherapy sessions improve the flexibility and mobility of the musculoskeletal system and reduce inflammatory processes and edema, which is why they are highly recommended for people suffering from arthritis or fibromyalgia.

Medical therapy training

Medical therapy training is aimed at improving the mobility of the entire locomotor system. Training is performed under the guidance of a physiotherapist or medical expert and is recommended for people recovering from injury or surgery, but also for those suffering from chronic diseases such as arthritis or fibromyalgia. Medical therapeutic training helps to strengthen the muscles and contributes to the development of balance and flexibility, which results in a general reduction of pain and an improvement in the overall quality of life. The workouts are often tailored to the individual needs and goals of each participant and include balance exercises, strength training, and stretching.

Membership fee:

Nordic walking

Nordic walking is a different type of activity that mimics the motion of cross-country skiing by using poles, thus positively affecting cardiovascular endurance. The use of poles activates the body’s core and the muscles of the upper body. It also aids in improving balance and stability, which can help prevent falls. Nordic walking is a low-impact activity, so it puts minimal pressure on the joints and is a great option for people of all ages and fitness levels. The goal of Nordic walking is aimed at the overall physical and mental improvement of a person and trains the body in a holistic and balanced way. Nordic walking is recommended for everyone who wants to improve their fitness level in an amusing way and pleasant company.
