BodyTite™ and FaceTite™ are minimally invasive workstations delivering results previously only achieved through excisional procedures. FaceTite™ is usually used to remove fat and tighten skin on targeted areas of the face or neck, including the sagging jowls, double chin, or cheeks. Results of the treatment are visible in jawline contouring, re-contouring the face and neck by removing excess fat, and improving fine lines and wrinkles. The AcuTite probe is then used for the lower eyelid area, which successfully removes bags under the eyes, leaving a fresh and rested appearance. On the other hand, BodyTite is most commonly used on areas such as the abdomen, upper arms, lower back (“love handles”), upper back (”bra line”), hips, thighs, above the knees, and chest area. Both devices are built upon a revolutionary technology that utilizes thermal energy to reduce stubborn pockets of fat and tighten loose skin. During the procedure, a probe is inserted via a small puncture of the skin. At the end of the probe, an electrode emits radiofrequency pulses into the fat layer directly under the skin. These pulses create small heat spots in the fatty and subcutaneous tissue, which have a dual effect. Firstly, connective tissue fibers are shortened and the body’s own new collagen production is strongly stimulated while existing collagen is regenerated. Secondly, fatty tissue is liquified and removed from the body. Simultaneously, the electrode placed on the outside of the skin controls the temperature in the subcutaneous tissue to prevent it from overheating. In this way, by using controlled technology, fat deposits are dissolved, but the skin is tightened thus avoiding many problems that arise with the classic liposuction procedure, primarily because there is no excess skin left after the treatment, and additionally because there is no possibility of scars appearing in places that are treated.
